Lepard in Serengeti

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After a hearty breakfast at your accommodation, meet your expert safari driver-guide and begin your adventure! Your first stop is Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its vast herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a scenic game drive with a packed lunch served at one of the park’s peaceful picnic sites.

As you explore, keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hippos, baboons, and antelopes. Bird lovers will delight in the park’s rich birdlife, including the rare Ashy Starling, Great Kudu, and Fringe-eared Oryx. You may also catch sight of predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.

In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to the charming town of Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart Karatu and head towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and spontaneous wildlife sightings. Midway through the journey, you’ll stop for lunch before continuing into the central Serengeti for your first taste of the endless plains and spectacular game viewing.

Arrive at your tented camp just in time for sunset and dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Full Day in the Serengeti
Today is all about discovering the wonders of the Serengeti. Famous for the Great Migration, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a wildlife paradise—home to millions of animals roaming freely across the vast savannah.

You’ll likely encounter large herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffes, and antelopes such as eland, topi, impala, and Grant’s gazelle. Predators including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and even leopards add thrilling moments to your game drives.

Choose between a full-day safari with a packed lunch in the wild, or return to camp for a hot lunch and some relaxation before heading out again for a sunset drive.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After an early breakfast, leave the Serengeti and journey to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and wildlife haven. Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, where the rich environment supports a vast range of animals—from herds of wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo to rare black rhinos and giant African elephants.

This is also one of the best places to spot predators, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and the elusive leopard. You’ll also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow, alkaline lake known for its hippos and vibrant flocks of flamingos.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Karatu for a relaxing evening.

Day 5: Karatu – Arusha / Departure
After breakfast, depart your lodge and begin the drive back to Arusha. From here, you can either head straight to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey or choose to extend your stay with an extra night in Arusha.
