This Tanzania safari 10 days Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation will include Tarangire National Park. The possibility of spotting the big 5 is high and crossing of Wildebeest at Mara River Northern Serengeti.
Day 1: Airport – Arusha
Today you will arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, meet by our representative and drive to Arusha town. You will check in at your hotel for overnight
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your accommodation, meet your safari driver guide and start the safari. Packed lunch will be served in one of the picnic sites inside the park. Tarangire is famous for its huge elephant population and giant baobab trees, you may expect to spot herds of elephant, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, hippos, baboons and antelopes. Birds are abundant & you may spot the three rare species of Ash staling, Great Kudu & Fringe Eared Oryx. Predators like lions, leopards, cheetah, jackals & hyena can also be seen. Your overnight stay will be inside the park
Day 3: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park
Rise and Shine, a morning in Tarangire, enjoy your breakfast and depart your lodge drive to Serengeti National Park, crossing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, there is high chance to see game on the way, in the middle of the journey you will stop for lunch, and proceed with game viewing. Dinner and overnight at central Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Today you will have a full day game drive in Serengeti, Serengeti is famed for its annual migration where some six million hooves pound the open plains, it’s one of Tanzania's oldest and most popular national parks. A UNESCO world heritage site and recently proclaimed as the 7th wonder of the world. Serengeti offers an exotic game viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you an up-close look of the animals you've only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, thousands of elands, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. You may wish to go for a full day game drive or return to the camp for hot lunch and relaxation, later in the evening you go out again for game viewing and sunset
Day 5: Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti
Another beautiful day, you will have another game viewing in central Serengeti, in the afternoon drive to Northern Serengeti. Your overnight stay will be at
Day 6 and Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Northern Part
In these 2 days you will spend your time in Kogatende near Mara River for wildebeest crossing, during this time you may spot the migration of wildebeest moving from Serengeti to Maasai Mara through crossing Mara River, a lot of action may happen especially crocodile catching. Dinner and overnight
Day 8: North to Central Serengeti
You will spend time in Kogatende and in the afternoon you will drive back to central Serengeti for overnight
Day 9: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro crater is a rich area with enough water & food it supports a variety of animal species which includes herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippos, and giant African elephants. The Crater is home to some rare species of black rhino living in their natural habitat. Another fascinating part of this amazing Caldera is it's denser population of predators including lion, cheetahs, hyenas, Jackals and the ever mysterious leopard that sometimes needs a binoculars eye to spot.
You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline Lake in the southwestern corner frequently visited hippos, flocks of flamingos and other water birds. In the afternoon you ascend the crater and drive to Karatu town for dinner and overnight
Day 10: Departure to Zanzibar or Back home
After breakfast depart your lodge in Karatu town drive to Arusha, you will be dropped off at Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, or proceed to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.
