1 day Hike Kilimanjaro

Your adventure begins with an early 7:00 AM pickup from your hotel, followed by a scenic two-hour drive through the Tanzanian countryside to Londorosi Gate (2,100m). After park registration and a short break, you’ll continue your journey deeper into Kilimanjaro National Park, driving through lush rainforest toward the Morum Barrier Gate at 3,400 meters, your starting point for a truly unforgettable hike.
 

As you walk across the vast Shira Plateau toward Shira 1 Camp, you’ll pass by Lion Gorge and the foothills of the majestic Shira Pinnacles. On clear days, you’ll be treated to jaw-dropping panoramas of Kibo’s snow-capped summit, the glaciers that surround it, and even glimpses of Mawenzi Peak.
